After graduating from NAIT with an engineering graphics degree in the early 1970s, Rick Sr. started out in the oilfields as a chainman laying out wellsites. He founded Ketek in 1979 with the purchase of one skid-mounted incinerator (from a company he would purchase in the early 1990s).
He is proud of the success of this family-oriented company which has grown from the original two employees to the 400+ people who safely earn their livelihood with Ketek today.
