Kelly Mason has significantly contributed to the environmental sector over the past two decades. After earning a B.Sc. from the University of Saskatchewan in 2000, he embarked on a pivotal journey to Asia in 2004-2005, which broadened his perspective on global environmental practices.
Returning to Canada, Kelly was drawn to Edmonton’s dynamic energy sector, joining Weatherford. This role catapulted him through various positions of increasing responsibility, enriching his expertise with valuable international experience in Scotland and Italy.
In 2019, Kelly embraced a new opportunity with Ketek, initially stepping into the role of Branch Manager in Saskatoon. By 2022, his leadership skills and deep understanding of environmental challenges led him to become the Vice President of Environmental Services.
In this role, Kelly is at the forefront of pioneering waste management solutions, focusing on sustainable practices like incineration and composting. He also plays a critical role as the business manager for Alternative Root (AltRoot), a composting operation in Westlock, AB, underscoring his commitment to innovative environmental stewardship.
