Shaun’s grandfather, Verne Abel, co-founded Ketek and would bring him to the shop when he was young to wash equipment and work on incinerator refractory.
When he was 18, he started as a service hand in the field. He later attended MacEwan University, where he received a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in international business. Mentored by Anil Chhibber, he now leads Ketek’s sales division, taking care of clients from initial consultation to delivery for items such as pumps, generators and incinerators.
