The Edmonton Singing Tree

Watch highlights from last year’s show!

The Edmonton Singing Christmas Tree has become a means of enriching and changing the lives of people of all ages and walks of life. All proceeds from ticket sales go to Santa’s Anonymous, the Christmas Bureau of Edmonton, the Edmonton Food Bank and the John Cameron Changing Lives Foundation, which purchases musical Instruments for schools and musical programs. All the singers, dancers, orchestra members and tech crew are volunteers.

Come out with the family, enjoy an event you will never forget and support one of Ketek’s own, Victoria Bjorkquist, in the tree. “I have been a part of this magnificent tradition for five years,” Bjorkquist says. “I believe in the John Cameron Changing Lives Foundation and The Edmonton Singing Christmas Tree and everything they represent, and do this for the amazing city we call home!”

The choir sings 15 songs from memory. “I have been singing and listening to Christmas music since the middle of September every day for about an hour a day,” Bjorkquist says. “Singing gives me joy and to put my talent towards such a great cause, to help so many families and children have a great Christmas, puts a huge smile on my face. I will be singing in this tree until I cannot sing anymore, and hope you can come and see a show you will never forget!”
