Course Description
This is the certified training course for workers who will be operating elevated work platforms such as genie lifts, aerial work platforms, boom lifts, and scissor lifts. It is a combination of in class learning and practical experience where the student must properly operate, inspect and maintain the lift. Topics Covered:

- Operation and Stowing
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will have a functional understanding of genie lifts, aerial work platforms, boom lifts, and scissor lifts, and will be certified in the ESC MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platform), and will be certified to operate a lift on the majority of sites in Canada.
This course provides basic operator training for working with Type 3, Group B Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) as outlined in CSA B354.7:17. This course is a prerequisite for ESC Mobile Elevated Work Platform.

Upon successful completion of the ESC MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platform), a certificate of completion will be provided.
Re-certification: Every three years
All students are required to bring government-issued identification. If verification is not provided, the student will not be permitted to take the course.
Cancellation: 24-hours notice is required for all cancellations
- Late arrivals that are denied entrance to the class, or who fail to attend the class without notification (no-shows), will forfeit the full course fee.
- Qualified substitutions will be allowed up to the course start date in lieu of forfeitures.
- Valid Energy Safety Canada Fall Protection Certificate.
- Valid OSSA Fall Protection Certificate.
