Course Description
This course provides students with the knowledge necessary to protect yourself against potential fall hazards. Participants will engage in a theory portion of training followed by hands-on training activities including inspecting, fitting, adjusting and connecting fall protection systems and components.

- Employer and Worker responsibilities
- Identifying and assessing fall hazards
- Fall Protection, Fall Arrest, and Fall Restraint systems
- Protection, rescue and escape planning
- Fall Protection equipment specifications, limitations, care and inspection
Participants will learn the differences between Fall Arrest, Fall Protection and Fall Restraint systems. They will engage in hands-on training and learn the methods used to identify and prevent falls in the workplace.
Any worker who may fall from a height of 3 metres or more, or where a fall from a lesser height could result in serious injury.
Prerequisites: This course is a prerequisite for ESC Mobile Elevated Work Platform

Advertised prices are based on course delivery within 50 km of Edmonton. Cost may vary based on client needs and location. Course length may vary depending on class size, student interaction, and skill level of participants.

Upon successful completion of the Energy Safety Canada Fall Protection course, a certificate of completion will be provided.
Re-certification: Every three years
All students are required to bring government-issued identification. If verification is not provided, the student will not be permitted to take the course.
Cancellation: 24-hours notice is required for all cancellations
- Late arrivals that are denied entrance to the class, or who fail to attend the class without notification (no-shows), will forfeit the full course fee.
- Qualified substitutions will be allowed up to the course start date in lieu of forfeitures.
